In Madagascar there was recently a power struggle for the right of the land. dozens of soldiers captured the palace that was at the time vacant. the current president said that he would not give power to the anti-government party who tried to get it unconstitutionally. It must have taken the president a ton of bravery to say what he did because his life would have been in danger if he was in the palace at the time of the invasion. This is like Okonkwo because he does not want to hand over his way of life to these invaders who want things there way. It is unlike him also because this is an inside threat of corrupt power and not of colonization.
